DistroBolt versus Amuse: artist access, imports and release tools
Compare DistroBolt and Amuse against the same catalogue, revenue categories and support needs. This review uses public primary sources checked on 4 November 2026, not a private offer or an account-level checkout test.
The confirmed DistroBolt baseline
Registered prices are EUR3.98 per single per year or EUR8.98 per EP/album per year on Essential. Premium is EUR9 monthly or EUR69 yearly and replaces annual Essential release fees during its active period. Standard artist revenue is 90%, DistroBolt 10%; creative services are separate. Account activation and current terms still apply.
What Amuse documents
Amuse publishes Artist-tier plans and different collaborator terms by tier. The reviewed pricing page describes a 15% fee for non-Amuse collaborators on its entry option and free collaborator treatment on specified higher plans. Check the chosen plan, current price and recipient eligibility rather than applying one condition to every user.
Who should compare which trade-offs
DistroBolt’s reviewed split feature provides free recipient accounts, which can matter for a collaborative catalogue. Its plan fees and standard 10% share still belong in the calculation. Compare import, scheduling and audio features only where the actual chosen plan documents them. DistroBolt’s planned API and portal work are not live competitive advantages.
Model the actual cost
For an illustrative EUR1,000 annual eligible DistroBolt royalty base, 10% is EUR100 before considering the selected plan and other applicable charges. Premium yearly plus that model commission is EUR169. This is not an earnings forecast. Do not add USD competitor fees to EUR amounts without a dated, explicit FX assumption. Check tax, withdrawal costs, renewals, cancellation and revenue-category terms separately.
