DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES
AI music may have different destination restrictions
Record AI eligibility by destination, release and review date. One distributor approval does not guarantee identical labelling, royalty treatment, availability or enforcement rules on every music service.
Use a coverage matrix
Create columns for destination, source policy, date checked, relevant AI category, disclosure, delivery status, royalty treatment and unresolved conditions. Keep requested coverage distinct from confirmed acceptance. A destination logo or a general AI statement is not evidence that every model and use is eligible.
Compare different types of policy
Spotify describes contribution credits and persona badges. TIDAL publishes its own AI policy, including distinct treatment of fully generated music. These are different policy dimensions, not interchangeable yes-or-no approvals. Read the actual current wording and the relevant release category before making a campaign or income assumption.
Verify DistroBolt coverage separately
Ask DistroBolt what its current provider requires for the exact master, tool version and rights evidence. No complete DistroBolt/WBBT destination matrix was verified for this guide. Do not fill missing entries with yes, or assume plain lyric support proves AI metadata transmission. Mark an unconfirmed destination as awaiting verification.
Review changes before each delivery
Keep the source and decision with the release version. If a model, policy or destination changes, reassess the relevant row without rewriting old records. Report unexpected rejection or tagging with the actual case reference. No universal store availability, royalty guarantee or automated policy synchronisation is promised.
