DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES

AI training-data requirements differ between distributors

AI distribution requirements must be compared by provider, model and date. A tool’s permission to commercialise output is a different question from a distributor’s training-data policy, content restrictions or documentation requirements.

Keep a dated comparison record

Use fields for provider, official policy URL, review date, model version, relevant rule, evidence requested and unresolved questions. Do not convert an old rejection or a social-media comment into a permanent list of lawful and unlawful tools. Legal clearance and platform acceptance remain separate assessments.

Read documented provider differences

DistroKid’s official AI guidance says uploads must meet streaming-service guidelines whether AI was used or not. TuneCore publishes its own AI information. A current, complete model-by-model TuneCore training-data acceptance rule was not established in this review, so this guide does not announce one or infer unrestricted acceptance from a general policy page.

Treat announcements within their scope

Suno announced a Believe and TuneCore partnership in September 2026 and described a change from earlier model treatment. That is the tool provider’s announcement, not a substitute for the distributor’s current account-level acceptance decision. Confirm the exact model, output and conditions with the relevant provider before planning delivery.

Apply the actual DistroBolt requirement

Ask DistroBolt what it and its current delivery partner require for the recording, including rights evidence and disclosure support. Do not describe WBBT acceptance as confirmed without documentation. Keep the response with the final master and recheck when models or policies change. There is no universal approved-tool list in this guide. Obtain a dated decision for the exact model and release.
