DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES
Reported earnings versus available balance versus bank payment
Reported royalties, an available account balance and a completed bank payment are different events. Reconcile them through their references and periods before treating a dashboard figure as money already received.
Start with the reported earning
Locate the source statement, service, usage period, posting date, currency and eligible amount. Review applicable commission, collaborator allocations and adjustments. A streaming counter measures activity in a different context and cannot establish that a matching royalty amount has been posted or cleared for withdrawal.
Check the available balance
Identify which posted amounts are currently available under the actual account rules. Ask about any unconfirmed allocation or other status rather than assuming a hold exists. An accepted split does not prove a bank payment happened. Keep reported totals and available totals separately labelled when discussing cash flow.
Follow the payout record
A payout request should have its own reference, amount, method and status. Distinguish requested, processing, completed, failed and returned when those statuses are provided. Verify bank receipt independently. A successful request screen does not by itself prove final settlement, and an unavailable button does not establish a universal minimum.
Reconcile the difference
For a hypothetical EUR100 posted amount, EUR80 available balance and EUR60 payout, do not call the remaining EUR40 missing. Identify the separate allocations and statuses first. Ask DistroBolt to explain unclear lines using the actual references. Do not change split percentages or start duplicate withdrawals to force the stages to match.
