DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES
A release is live but its store link is missing
A missing link in a dashboard is not proof that a release is absent from a store. Verify actual availability and the correct product before requesting delivery again or describing the problem as a takedown.
Identify what is missing
Record whether you lack an album link, track link, artist profile link or a link inside a third-party campaign page. Note the release reference, destination, territory and observed date. A pre-release identifier and a publicly playable release are different things, so record which state you expect.
Check the destination carefully
Use the destination’s normal search and the confirmed artist profile where available. Compare the title, artwork, version and track list before copying a result. For Spotify, an album, track and artist each have distinct URI or ID types. Do not guess a release URL from an ISRC or assume the first search result is yours.
Separate a link problem from a delivery problem
If the correct release plays, save its verified share link and ask why the dashboard or smartlink has not updated. If no correct public release can be found, ask DistroBolt to verify delivery and profile mapping. Spotify’s upcoming-release tools can provide a URI before launch, but that does not itself prove current public availability.
Update campaign references and preserve evidence
Replace an incorrect link only after checking the intended destination and product. Test it in the context fans will use and record any territory or login limitation. Keep the original issue and support outcome. Avoid a duplicate delivery simply to generate another link; it can create competing products without fixing the original mapping problem.
