DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES

A streaming service is missing from this month's statement

A service missing from a statement is missing data until its reporting status is established. Do not enter zero earnings merely because a service has not appeared in the current export.

Separate usage and posting periods

Write the month the listening or sale occurred, the reporting period shown in the account and the date the report was posted. Different services can report on different schedules. A current activity graph and a posted royalty report therefore need not cover the same set of events.

Check the filters and source

Review the selected account, catalogue, currency, service and date filters. Keep an untouched original export for comparison. Confirm that the recording belongs to the intended release owner or incoming split. A filtered view can omit a source without the underlying statement being absent.

Ask a focused reporting question

Provide DistroBolt with the service, recording references, relevant period and observed gap. Ask whether the source report has arrived and whether it has been posted to the account. ReverbNation documents delayed store reporting in its own service; it illustrates a possible reporting issue, not a fixed DistroBolt timetable.

Record unknown values honestly

Use a status such as not reported or under review, with a date and case reference. Keep that distinct from a confirmed zero line. When the report arrives, add the actual amount and preserve the earlier status history. Do not forecast a payable balance from stream counts or promise collaborators a payment date before the amount and payout status are confirmed.

Sources and review

Reviewed 4 November 2026. Platform requirements and plan terms can change. Examples are planning aids, not a promise of account access, release acceptance or earnings.

Continue your release planning

Ask the DistroBolt team about your release. Send a concise question and release reference; never send account passwords or verification codes.
