DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES
Keep one verified register of your official artist links
Keep one controlled register of the artist’s confirmed public links. A reliable reference prevents a release page, press kit or support case from sending fans to an unrelated artist or an obsolete product.
Record identity with each URL
Use fields for service, artist or product, exact URL, verification date and evidence. Distinguish artist pages, recordings, albums, social profiles and private previews. A matching display name alone is not verification.
Name an approval owner
Decide who can propose and approve changes. Record the old link, replacement, reason and date rather than silently overwriting the register. Keep account administration references privately; a public profile link should not contain a login token or secret sharing parameter.
Test the actual destination
Open the link in a suitable context and check the artist, version and availability. Watch for a redirect to an unrelated page. A public link can work differently by territory or login state, so document the observation without bypassing access restrictions.
Use it across approved materials
Update the relevant artist page, release page and press references from the verified record. Keep historic links where needed for reconciliation or corrections. Accurate link identity supports a useful public presence but does not guarantee Google recognition. No profile is claimed or account connected by this checklist.
