DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES

Plan Instagram Reels for a music release

Plan a Reel around an approved excerpt, a clear visual idea and one relevant listener action. Confirm the actual account’s music-use permissions rather than assuming that library availability grants every promotional right.

Prepare the material

Choose the exact audio version and a coherent excerpt, then confirm rights for the visuals and people shown. Keep an approved clean export available where useful. Do not copy music or footage from another post merely because the artist appears in it.

Build a draft in the current tools

Use the account’s available Reel creation tools, review the crop, readable text, audio and cover, then inspect the caption and intended audience before sharing. Meta’s original Reels introduction describes draft and sharing concepts, but current interface details require an in-account check. Do not present a historical menu path as verified today.

Check music and commercial scope

Review the actual account, content purpose and current Meta rules. The official licensed-library help may require login. Owning one recording contribution does not automatically clear every composition or visual use. Do not bypass restrictions through account changes or copied audio.

Approve and review the result

Keep the exact asset and authorised approval, then verify any actual publication separately. Record relevant observations without promising reach or streams. No Reel is published, account connected or platform entitlement confirmed by this guide; detailed current account controls remain a pre-publication check.
