DISTROBOLT ARTIST GUIDES
Choose a landing page for a music advertisement
Choose a landing page that fulfils the advertisement’s promise and gives the listener one clear next step. A smartlink, artist page and direct store link serve different needs and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Match the page to the message
If the ad promises a specific release, show the correct artist, recording and relevant listening action promptly. A general business homepage can create unnecessary work for the visitor. Do not send people to a different edition or an unreleased link without explaining its status.
Choose the right amount of context
A smartlink can offer destination choices, while an artist or release page can provide an approved story and identity context. A direct store link removes a choice but can depend on the visitor’s account and territory. Decide which trade-off suits the actual campaign rather than assuming one page type always converts best.
Check mobile use and accessibility
Inspect loading, readable text, clear buttons, working links and any consent controls. Avoid a purchase or email gate that was not explained in the ad. Confirm the final URL and tracking choices without collecting unnecessary personal information.
Measure the actual page action
Record visits and outbound clicks separately from verified platform activity. Use a defined review period and retain changes to the page. No automatic stream attribution, ranking improvement or conversion guarantee is offered. This guide does not build or publish a new campaign destination.
